Bite Beauty 5 Night Fix for Lips Review

$15 at Sephora

This is a ‘trial’ size of Bite Beauty’s Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub and Agave Lip Mask. I believe the lip mask comes in 3 shades, but this contains the original version.

What it is: A duo with a nightly restorative routine to replenish and revitalize lips.

What it does: Help repair dry lips in five nights with our intensive routine.

First, use the deluxe mini Whipped Cherry Scrub Stick to gently buff away impurities. Castor oil beads help leave lips soft and supple, while fruit extracts help brighten and restore lips. Next, smooth on a nightly treatment: the coveted deluxe mini Agave Lip Mask is a leave-on, nighttime lip mask made with agave and Madagascar vanilla to help repair parched, chapped lips. This two-step system helps to leave lips looking healthy, soft, nourished, and repaired.”

Bite Beauty uses natural ingredients for “Natural, Age-defying Beauty for Lips That’s Good Enough to Eat!” Bite Beauty’s products are made with medical and food grade ingredients. All of their colorants are food grade approved. (from Facebook)

There is surprisingly very little information about the brand on their website. You can read some more about Bite Beauty from The New Pretty, who interviewed it’s founder.

In this kit, we are getting the Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub (.041 oz) and Agave Lip Mask (.18 oz) for $15. The “Whipped” Cherry Lip Scrub in this is actually in a little stick form. I’m not really fond of lip exfoliators in a stick form, the beads don’t slough off and they keep the balm from getting on your lips.  I previously tried ELF’s Lip Exfoliator and it had the same problem. I ended up just scratching a little off the top and that helped.

This is advertised as a “5 Night Fix” and while it took a little bit longer (about a week) to fix up my stubborn chapped lips, I have to say it worked great! I still have some dryness but it’s also winter and my skin in general gets very dried out.

There’s plenty of product to last you through five plus days. I used up more of the scrub stick than the lip mask but I still have plenty left.

Both of these products are 99% natural, but neither are vegan. The scrub contains carmine and beeswax, and the lip mask contains beeswax and lanolin.
